I have been a patient of Dr Hamlett for over six years. I moved all of my paperwork over to him when he opened Abilene Audiology Co. I got my first hearing aids from him six years ago and purchased my second pair from him. I have recommended several people to him also.

My first visit was exceptional. Everyone was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
Dr. May is an excellent audiologist and I definitely recommend her without any reservations.

I needed new hearing aids. Dr. Hamlin, owner of Abilene Audiology Co., took his time with my hearing test, listened to what I wanted to accomplish, and helped me fulfill on that.

The office is new, very clean, and up to date.

Office staff is helpful and welcoming.

Demo aides came in three days later and while I need some things adjusted, they meet my expectations. Had they not, Dr. Hamlin would be there with other options.

Great experience. If you need new hearing aids or just need a test to see if you do, you won’t go wrong with Abilene Audiology Co.

Abilene Audiology is absolutely great. The staff is professional and very knowledgeable. I was given some demo hearing aids for a month.. The demos allowed me to get used to wearing them. My new hearing aids were ordered, fitted, and synced with my phone. My BCBSTX was filed by the doctor, so I did not have to deal with it.

I couldn't ask for any better care than I have received at Abilene Audiology! Dr. Hamlett has improved my hearing considerably and I am so grateful.

I just purchased my 3rd pair of hearing aids from Dr. Hamlett, and I keep going back for the service I have come to expect. The girls up front are extremely welcoming and friendly and helpful. I have never had to wait beyond my appointment time. And I’ve never felt rushed. Dr Hamlett has always been so patient with all of my stupid questions and concerns. Every time I have to go in for a cleaning or adjustment or repair, I feel like a valued customer.

Kind, compassionate, and respectful—especially important when dealing with hearing concerns. Would recommend them!!

I have seen Dr. Kelsey May at Abilene Audiology for years. She is excellent. So friendly and helpful with all of my hearing aid/testing/evaluations and so knowledgeable. I have always been made to feel so comfortable with her and her staff. Always gets me in for appointments so quickly when needed. I highly recommend them and wouldn't see anyone else.

Very helpful and friendly. Moved to town and they serviced my existing hearing aids. I purchased new hearing aids through them and they were very efficient in the buying process. Definitely recommend them.

Took great care of us even though we are out of network. Dr. May took the time to check on our insurance and was very helpful. An appointment was made quickly for our first visit. When we arrived we were greeted with kindness and we were able to get see Dr. May quickly. Great place to go.

I have received the most kind service from the staff. I get my hearing aids from Dr. May. She's an amazing person.

I went to Abilene Audiology for hearing aids because a friend recommended. I saw Dr. May and she went over my hearing test and explained in detail my hearing loss. We selected hearing aids and went back about a week later for fitting. Dr. May went how to put them in and how to take care of them. I have gone back to see Dr. May and she is tweaking them based on what I’m telling her. I would definitely recommend Abilene Audiology and Dr. May for your hearing issues.

I’ve been experiencing trouble with my ear for a little over a month, and today I found instant relief thanks to Dr. Hamlett. Not only can I hear significantly better, but the entire staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. My experience from start to finish was truly exceptional. Dr. Steven Hamlett at Abilene Audiology Co. helped me with the purchase of my hearing aid. He showed me all of my options to help me purchase the best hearing aid for my needs. He also followed up with appointments to tune in my hearing aid. His receptionist was great! She made sure to schedule my appointments on the days and times that would best work for me. I would recommend Abilene Audiology Co. for your hearing aid needs.

My experience was great,

On a Christmas holiday week-end Sunday, my 89 year old aunt got her dome of her hearing aid stuck in her ear and it was painful. Dr. Hamlett was at a family gathering but came to his office at 7 PM to assist her. He went above and beyond duty to help my aunt and saved her from discomfort until the office was open. I would 100 out of 10 recommend Abilene Audiology Co. My experience started in late March or early April. From begging to present the entire office has been beyond amazing. Top notch customer service from anyone you get the privilege of dealing with. It was so crazy to realize how much I wasn’t hearing. Tell them I sent you !!!! I promise you won’t regret it !!!!! I meant to leave this review a couple of weeks ago and it slipped my mind, but I have GOT TO acknowledge this amazing staff! They greet you with a smile, they are kind and courteous, and extremely knowledgeable. One of the nice ladies offered some treats to my kiddos on our first time in and I got a cute little tshirt! I felt like they took their time with us and we weren’t rushed like they had other better things to do. They treated my family and I with kindness and consideration while explaining the process every step of the way. I absolutely loved the warm atmosphere and the overall experience! I would definitely recommend them to anyone!!!!

My husband received hearing aids and I was shocked at the price and quality

After doctor and ENT specialist visits with no results, I contacted a trusted audiologist, Dr. Steven Hamlett, who listened, tested, and diagnosed with accuracy. The friendliness of the Abilene Audiology Company’s personnel aided in the satisfaction of the visit, and today with the use of heating aids, I hear better and am totally satisfied with the outcome. At 75 years of age, I have Medicare and a supplemental insurance. Although the insurance does does cover the cost of “devices,” the ease of mind and the remedy of better “hearing” complement the experience of choosing this doctor and office.

I had a wonderful experience at Abilene Audiology! They are great people and my hearing aides are awesome!

Very professional and very understanding

First of all , the receptionist. Naomi, was the epitome of the person you’d want behind the counter. Friendly , helpful and made being here feel not so intimidating.
The waiting area is incredibly relaxing. Plenty of thought went into its layout .
Fun fact : I took home a free gift. I took an Abilene Audiology Co. Shirt for my wife.
She loves the heathered grey.
Dr. Hamlett was very approachable, intuitive and best of all , he heard & listened to my reason & need for being here.
He offered insight into what happens in my ear and why I could find that hearing loss …
I must have left it somewhere on the road …
I digress …
The experience was positive. I felt more secure about wearing a hearing aid. In fact I’m looking forward to it. I look at it like a “ massage “ for my inner ear.

Great service and outstanding personnel.

Dr. Hamlet has been working with our son for a few years now. We love their new location in Buffalo Gap Rd. Both May and Hamlet are very knowledgeable in the audiology field. They have graciously fixed our son’s hearing aides several times. They are always kind and patient with our son. You never wait long for an appointment , yet somehow they still manage take the time and listen with each patient. Excellent service and work from these two.

The guidance, expertise and kindness of Dr. Hamlett is the best! He is careful and informative and has a wonderful disposition to provide for his patients. From just getting ears cleaned to hearing tests, 5 stars to Abilene Audiology!

Dr. Kelsey May has been a tremendous help to me over the last few years. After diagnosing my hearing loss, she graciously programmed my mother's old hearing aid for me. I was very pleased with how the hearing aid worked. Since then, she has programmed a different set of hearing aids for me. At each visit she cleans the hearing aids and makes any adjustments needed. In her new office, I was greeted by a pleasant receptionist and I was able to make an appointment in the new office without any trouble. Dr. May is very kind and knowledgeable about her field of medicine.
